Biography

Moroccan by birth and raised between Ibiza and The Netherlands, Affani has multi-cultural roots. 

Growing up in the 80s was essential to his musical background. This period not only shaped his taste but also allowed him to discover artists like Jean Michel Jarre. However, it was his encounter with House Music that truly brought out the musician inside of him. This pivotal moment occurred when he started listening to Frankie Knuckles, Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, and other pioneers of House Music from the 90s.

Affani’s journey into music production began with sequences, and his skills were honed with guidance from fellow Dutch producer Laidback Luke, who provided valuable production tips and consistent positive feedback.

Affani has a musical style ranging from the Deep Spirit of Deep House to the most powerful percussive and energetic peak-time club tracks. His sets are multi-faceted and characterised by the word GROOVE, creating an energy that leaves audiences always wanting more. His productions have been exhibited at major festivals like Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, and Sonar, as well as at underground clubs including DC10, Pikes, and Macarena. Supported by techno titan Carl Cox and other notable artists such as Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, and house master Roger Sanchez.

Affani has established a significant presence in the electronic music scene, He also runs the successful label LClub Music, which features both his own productions and those of other like-minded artists. Additionally, LClub Music releases a series of “Limited Vinyl Only,” further solidifying Affani’s dedication to high-quality, tangible music formats.
